The Ascension Middle School educates students in grades 6 through 8 and is located on two separate campuses. Grades 6 and 7 are located on the downtown campus at 1030 Johnston Street in Lafayette, Louisiana. Grade 8 is located on the Sugar Mill Pond Campus at 1800 Chemin Metaire Parkway in Youngsville, Louisiana.
