The United States Department of Education named Ascension Episcopal School a 2004 Blue Ribbon School. This distinguished award was given to only 256 schools nationwide, with only 50 schools selected in the private sector.

 

The Blue Ribbon School program recognizes schools whose students perform at a high level. Ascension Episcopal School qualified for an exceptionally high level of recognition, performing in the top 10% of schools in the nation in reading and mathematics as measured by standardized tests.

 

This honor by the Department of Education is yet another indication that Ascension Episcopal School truly accomplishes its mission of academic excellence in a Christian environment.
