The Daily Advertiser: With the Ascension Episcopal Blue Gators football team having the best season in their history by making it to the Superdome, the school's basketball coach Eric Mouton had a bit of a numbers problem on his hand. Obviously, Mouton was happy to see the Blue Gators make it the state championship game and rooted for them all the way, but it did hinder early season preparation a little bit. "With us going to the Superdome, everything got pushed back a little bit," Mouton said. "We've had three or four practices with the entire team. Luckily, our young guys played well and we were able to get a couple of wins here and there."
